Mary Olson Farm Auburn, Washington Location & Site Plan
The Mary Olson Farm is located in a forested canyon on the east bank of the Green River in northeast Auburn. The Farm’s quiet rural setting provides an opportunity to hear birds singing, notice seasonal changes in native and cultivated plants, see salmon spawning in Olson Creek in the fall, and appreciate the simple farmstead buildings that have lasted more than one hundred years. The Site Plan above shows the Farm’s major historic buildings, along with visitor amenities such as parking & restrooms which will be located in the north meadow. From Auburn or Kent’s city centers, the Farm may be reached by a five minute drive or a leisurely bicycle ride. For visitors from Seattle or Tacoma, the Farm is a half-hour drive and provides a pleasant stop en route to Mt. Rainier, one of our state’s top tourist destinations.
